I am in network with traditional Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, and Priority Health insurance plans. If you are insured by another company, and have out of network mental health coverage, I am able to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that couples therapy sessions are cash pay only, and I will not be able to submit to insurance.

My standard rates are $180 for intake sessions, and $165 for follow up sessions. Please talk with me about my sliding fee scale, if needed.

It is important to me for all clients to feel comfortable, respected, and deeply heard. It is normal to feel apprehensive, nervous, or shut down when in therapy sessions, and I work with you to name and process these feelings when they arise. I utilize a combination of somatic therapy, parts work, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive theories such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my work with clients.

The majority of people I work with benefit from once per week sessions to gain rapport and comfort with both me and the treatment style. Our work together will yield more results when we meet consistently. Some other factors to consider are 1. If your insurance has a limit to how many sessions they will cover 2. The level of support you are needing and 3. My current availability. We will further discuss the frequency of sessions during our consultation or initial intake session.

Currently in the State of Michigan, Licensed Professional Counselors do not have ‘state reciprocity’, which means that I am limited to seeing clients who are physically present within state lines. I am not licensed to practice in any other states.

It is important to me to share that my Eastern Orthodox Christian faith is central to who I am as a person, and influences the lens through which I understand the world, people, and the nature of the healing process. I welcome those who are hoping to incorporate their faith in sessions, as much, or as little, as the client wishes. I also have experience working with those who have experienced religious trauma, and those who have differing or no faith tradition.
